A: All of our current opportunities are posted on this website. Go to the 'Job Search' section and begin your search. The ‘Application Guidelines’ will help you to search and apply to jobs with us. If you do not find a suitable job that interests you, you can create a candidate profile to receive updates on new job postings that match your specific criteria or area of interest.
Q. I am unsure of what work experience I can refer to in my application, can you provide any further guidance?
A. You can draw from any paid or unpaid work experience you may have encountered regardless of the duration of the experience. This can include voluntary work, intern placement opportunities, summer jobs or part time work.
Q. I have no work experience, what should I write in the experience section in order to proceed with my application?
A. If you do not have any work experiences (which can include summer jobs, part time work, voluntary work, intern/placements etc.) then please write 'NA' in the relevant section and continue with completing the rest of the application.
Q: Can I view my attachments inside of my profile? A:
Yes. Attachments can be viewed by clicking on ‘Access my profile’ from either the
‘Job Search’ or ‘My Job Page’ section.
Q: How can I determine my job application status?
A:
You will receive an electronic notification confirming that we have received your job application. We will continue to keep you updated on the status of your application.
Application status can be determined in two ways:
1. On the ‘My Job Page’ tab of your profile, each job you have been active on will be listed in one of three categories: ‘Draft Submissions’, ‘Completed’ or ‘Withdrawn’.
2. On the ‘My Job Page’, select the job you want to view and then select the hyperlink in the Submission Status line
Q: What should I do if I have a question about the online job application?
A:
Click on ‘Contact Us’ at the top of the Careers page to submit your question to the appropriate contact/department. Q: I applied for the wrong job. What do I do? A:
You should withdraw your application by going to the ‘My Job Page’, and select ‘Withdraw’ in the job list. You would need to re-apply for the correct job. There is no way to automatically transfer your application from one job to another job. Q: How do I get a copy of my application? A:
To view a copy of your job application, click into ‘My Job Page’ and click "View Submission" under the section for the corresponding job. Q: Will the system be able to translate my responses from a foreign language into English or vice versa? A:
No. The system does not automatically translate text or resumes/CVs that have been completed in a language other than English. However, candidates can apply in Norwegian for roles located in Norway.
Q: What is the maximum size document that can be attached as part of my profile? A: External candidates can attach up to five documents for a total size of 500kb.
Q How do I retrieve my password?
A: Click on the “Contact Us” link at the top of the Careers page and select the password reset option.
Q: I'm not able to find a job that interests me, what should I do?A:
Go to the 'Job Search' section and create a 'candidate profile'. Once a job has been posted that matches your profile, you will receive an email notification inviting you to review the job and submit an application if applicably chosen. Use the candidate profile guide to help you to create your profile.
Q: I can not find my school, college or university in the online job application system, what do I do?A:
If you are unable to find your school, college or university on the education section in the online application system, please select 'Other Institution' and proceed with completing your job application.
Q. In the 'Education' section of my application, what does GPA mean? A.
This refers to the 'Grade Point Average' system that is used in the United States. If you are applying for a job opportunity located outside of the United States, this information is not required. You should leave this section blank and proceed with completing your application.
