Employment Application Guidelines

This step - by - step user guide is to help you understand the online recruitment process used for employment opportunities at ConocoPhillips.

The stages of the online application process:

Signing In

Before applying to an employment opportunity, please read the privacy agreement throughly and select the relevant option to proceed with your application.

Existing users should enter their login details and select Login.  New users should select new user.

Searching for jobs

There are various ways to search for employment opportunities at ConocoPhillips. It is possible to search with the individual job reference number, a keyword(s), a specific job function and/or by preferred location.

Advanced job search

To perform a job search using the advanced search criteria option, click the "Advanced Search" tab.

Additional criteria can now be used for defining your job search, including posting date, job schedule, job level, job type and line of business.

If there are no jobs available that match your search, please continue to create a candidate profile to receive email notifications of new job postings that match your criteria.

Saving and Reviewing Searches

 

Saving a Search

Please sign in to use this application.  New users should register before this step.  Hide search criteria by selecting Hide Search Criteria.  To save a search select Save this Search.  Name the search and click Save.

Reviewing a Search

To review all saved searches slect My Jobpage > My Saved Searches.

Job Cart

To view jobs that are in the job cart, select My Jobpage > My Job Cart.  You can choose to apply to the job by clicking "Apply".

To apply for a position click Apply.

If you are an existing user, please sign in.  New users need to register (see section 1).

 

Job Submission

The only way to apply for employment opportunities at ConocoPhillips is to complete the online application process. We do not accept applications in any other way.

Please have all of the necessary information available to complete the form. We will ask about these areas:

Have an up-to-date version of your CV/Resume ready to upload.  This is optional.

 

Personal information

Please input your name, address and contact details in this section.

 

Education

Please provide us with your education history to date.  Typically, we will ask for the highest level of education achieved.  If you do not see your instituion listed, please select "other institution" to proceed with your application.  Please list in chronological order with your most recent education first.

 

Work Expreience

Please provide us with information about your previous work experience(s) including key accountabilities and accomplishments from those jobs.  Please list in chronological order with your most recent work experience first.

 

Additional Attachements

Attach any relevant files that support your application e.g. covering letters, resumes, references or academic transcripts.

 

Questionnaire

Please complete this brief questionnaire asking you about your level of skill, knowledge and/or experience that is relevant to the job.

 

E-Signature

In order for us to consider your candidacy, you are asked to provide an e-signature.  Please read the E-signature statement prior to submitting your application.

Please provide us with the information about how you heard about the employment opportunity available at ConocoPhillips.

 

Summary

You can review your application prior to submitting it.  When you are satisfied, select Submit.  To save the application and continue later, select Save as Draft.  You can always come back to the application providing that the job is still open.
