Europe Supply and Trading
T. W. (Todd) Fredin is general manager, Europe, Supply and Trading of ConocoPhillips.
Todd joined Conoco in 1975 and held various refinery positions in Wrenshall, Minnesota and Ponca City, Oklahoma before transferring to the company’s headquarters in Houston, Texas. In 1984, he was named executive assistant to the executive vice president of refining. The following year, he became manager of economic, evaluation for Conoco’s Crude Oil and Supply Trading, International group. He spent the next seven years in crude oil trading positions in Houston, London, Dubai and Singapore. In 1991 he became Houston-based manager of business development for the Refining, Research and Engineering department. He moved to Singapore in 1994 as president, Conoco International Inc., with responsibility for Conoco’s downstream business development and trading activities in the Asia Pacific region.
A native of Minnesota, Todd received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
