Robert (Bob) A. Herman is president, Europe, refining, marketing and transportation, of ConocoPhillips.
He joined the company in 1997 as operations superintendent at the Ferndale Refinery in Ferndale, Wash. He progressed through several operations, maintenance, and technical management positions, including refinery manager at the Bayway Refinery in Linden, N.J. from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, Herman became general manager, refinery business improvement. He assumed his current role in 2008.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University in 1982.
